It was so pleasing to see the turnout on the day from so many of Howdy’s friends.
The Presenters of Lakemacquarie FM would like to thank the people and Companies, far too many to mention individually, for their kind generosity in contributing goods and services to add more value to the day.
I was going to personally write something about the day, but when I looked at Howdy’s Facebook Page, I read the report about the day in his own words and decided that I would copy and paste it here for you all to read. Here are his words of thanks ………………………
FULL HOUSE FOR OUR RADIO SHOW HOST ‘H O W D Y’
By Brian ‘Howdy’ Howden
Today I was left in tears of joy and amazement. You did this for me?
People volunteered there time, businesses and individuals donated goods u0026amp; services to ensure a full house sign appeared across the doors entrance of my fundraiser this afternoon within the Halekulani Bowling Club.
I can not offer enough gratitude to everyone past and present from Lake Macquarie FM 97.3 u0026amp; Paul and his team from Halekulani Bowling Club.
The fundraiser would not have been complete without the amazing people that attended this cold Sunday afternoon.
We laughed during 60s 70s u0026amp; 80s Comedy Rock Trivia including playing adult games compared by Brian Walker and a cast of one ‘Chook’.
There was a large number of items on the auction tables constantly receiving bids under the watchful eye of Wayne Osborne.
The final tally achieved is not available because donations were still being received at the writing of this post.
Again thank you to all those people who volunteered their time, donated money, prizes and came out to this awesome event
I am forever in your debt.
