Born in the UK, my earliest childhood memory of music was before I was three years old. While sitting on the lounge room floor, I stopped playing with my toys to listen to “Nimrod”fromEdward Elgar’s Enigma Variations. I told my Mum, “I like that”.

I remember that Mum had a beautiful Alto voice and my Dad, a baritone, also played a pretty mean harmonica, while my grandfather had his own orchestra where he played the violin

I have always enjoyed singing, dancing and acting, in fact all aspects of the Theatre. The call of the stage began in High School. This led to later delights in my being involved for numerous years in Amateur and Semi Professional Theatre Groups.

One of my fondest memories is of playing Cinderella in a long running pantomime in the UK.

I emigrated to Australia in 1976 and worked mainly in Financial Administration. Thirty years ago I met my husband Warren. (Check out his page on this website to read more about our fantastic time together while travelling on our yacht).

I retired in 2009. This gave me time to carry out some long anticipated study in the field of music and drama.

Music has always been a very integral part of my life and I am forever grateful to my parents for exposing me to everything musical. As Shakespeare once stated, “If music be the food of love, play on”.

A lifetime passion for Teddy Bears earned me the name Clare Bear or CB .

I became a presenter on LMFM in 2013. My Monday afternoon drive time show “Anything Goes” features upbeat style music while Tuesday morning’s “All Kinds Of Everything” has a more relaxed easy listening format.
